We are a technology & consulting company focused on Digital Sustainability solutions for the Energy & Utilities industry.

We started with fifteen people on board as a small software house nine years ago.
Now, in 2020, when we’re a team of over sixty talents and still growing, we’re extending it into technology that makes a difference and has a tangible impact on the world of everyday life.

Who are we seeking

We are looking for a junior frontend developer, who already has some commercial experience. We aim to invest our senior developers time to teach you, but we require you to provide some business value for us.

Profile:

Development: 60%
Tests: 20%
Support and maintenance/bug fixing: 20%

Daily work

  • Working on UI components in React

  • Implement new features from the requirement to the production deploy

  • Support and maintain existing features

  • Write tests for your code

  • Learning new things

Qualifications

  • At least 1 years of commercial experience
    We expect you to have some experience, so we can trust you to deliver some business values to our customers.

  • Solid knowledge of HTML & CSS
    We believe these two are the foundation of frontend technologies, so you should have solid knowledge of writing proper markup and how to style things, including new browser features.

  • Understanding of Javascript
    We write SPAs and javascript-centric apps, so you need to know JS well. Knowledge of TypeScript (or other statically typed language) will be a plus.

  • Knowledge of React & ecosystem
    We use React as our primary “way of development”, so we expect you to know how it works and you should be comfortable using it on daily basis.

  • Angular as the second choice
    In some projects at Codibly we use Angular so if you have expertise in this it is an additional benefit for us.

  • Unit & integration testing
    We aim to test as much as possible. We don’t expect you to be an expert, but you should know why you should test and how to write testable code

  • Experience in UI frameworks like Material UI or similar
    We focus on solving business problems, so we try to minimize time spent on repetitive tasks like styling. We use Material UI in most of our projects and adjust it for our needs. We value experience with using component libraries like Material.

  • Experience with GIT and Git Flow
    We use GIT as a version control system, so you should know it enough to perform daily tasks.

Soft activities

  • Strong communication in English
    Within Codibly we speak Polish, but we work on international projects. You should be fluent in English and speak freely with clients
